| Capita has an annual expenditure on goods and services in excess of £600m. The way we manage our procurement and supply chain is increasingly important to our profitability, reputation and corporate social responsibility objectives. |

We recognise that good procurement practice can directly enhance our business performance by securing best value goods and services against favourable commercial and contractual terms. |

| The Group Board fully endorse this policy and monitor procurement performance through a range of measures including savings delivered and compliance. This policy is owned by the Group Procurement Director, who is responsible for its implementation and periodic review. It is supported by the Procurement Policy Framework which is available on the Group Procurement pages of the intranet.

| Where Capita is undertaking procurement on behalf of customers it is still important that the principles of this policy are followed, and that spend and supplier information is reported.
